About this product
The ASUS TUF VG259QMY is a 24.5-inch gaming monitor with IPS FHD 1920x1080 resolution, 280Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and G-SYNC compatibility. It has HDMI input and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Designed for serious gaming. Priced at $249.90.
Our take
This monitor is built for competitive gaming. The 280Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time deliver incredibly smooth motion. G-SYNC eliminates tearing. The IPS panel provides good colors, though contrast is typical. The 24.5-inch size is great for FPS games. However, the resolution is only 1080p, which is fine for the refresh rate. Price is reasonable for the performance. I'd recommend this for esports enthusiasts.
