This MSI G274 is a solid entry-level gaming monitor for competitive players. The 170Hz refresh rate and 1ms response make motion very smooth. However, at 27 inches, 1080p resolution results in lower pixel density compared to QHD or 4K. The 250-nit brightness is dim, so it's best used in controlled lighting. The stand is basic but offers tilt. The 100000000:1 contrast ratio is likely dynamic; typical IPS contrast is lower. For $271, it's a decent value for high-refresh gaming on a budget, but I'd prefer a smaller screen or higher resolution.
